Julie Kapyrka Lands and Resources Consultation Officer Curve Lake First Nation Originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Julie came to Peterborough to complete a B.A. Hons. and Master’s Degree in Archaeology/Anthropology which led to a PhD in Indigenous Studies. Dr. Kapyrka has developed several curricula and instructed for Trent University in the Indigenous Environmental Studies Program, and at Fleming College in the Ecological Restoration Program.
